JGT028W10ON02-V01 adopts exclusive 2.8-inch 240×320 vertical resolution. Vertical layout matches the up-down sliding interaction logic of door locks and handheld meters, with neatly arranged vertical parameters and icons without crowding. No screen rotation by software, greatly reducing computing overhead of low-end MCUs. The mini body fits tiny housings such as electrician meters and temperature control panels, lowering mold opening cost for new products.
This module adopts IPS LCD substrate to eliminate the whitening defect of ordinary TN screens. The brightness and color of the screen remain consistent and distortion-free when holding handheld devices at an incline, viewing door locks from the side, or operating small tabletop instruments from multiple angles. It reduces visual fatigue during long-time inspection and home use, enabling precise identification of tiny values and status icons, suitable for all lightweight small equipment.
Equipped with widely used ST7789V2 display driver IC with complete open-source underlying codes, fully compatible with low and high-cost MCUs including 51, STM8, STM32 and ESP32. Only 4-wire SPI communication occupies very few IO pins with extremely simple hardware circuits, greatly shortening the R&D and debugging cycle of mass small instruments and teaching development boards.
The whole module adopts ultra-small 10PIN FPC cable integrating SPI signals and 4 backlight pins. Compared with multi-pin screens, it greatly saves PCB layout space and avoids cable crowding inside narrow door locks and portable meters. The integrated single cable simplifies assembly procedures; replacement and renovation of existing equipment do not require redesign of circuit boards, cutting hardware costs.
