JGT177W12ONT3 adopts a dedicated 1.77-inch 128×160 vertical pixel specification, perfectly matching the vertical UI layout of smart bands and fingertip oximeters. Heart rate, battery and step icons are arranged in clean layers with no stretching. No program rotation is needed, reducing low-end MCU computation load; the housing cutout size is industry-standard, lowering new-product mold investment.
This product uses a standard EWV liquid crystal substrate with mature mass-production process. Brightness and color difference across the same batch are well controlled, ensuring no display variation in bulk shipments of bands and health instruments. Combined with 12H horizontal wide view, side-glance status checking will not whiten; comfortable for long daily indoor viewing with clear recognition of tiny values.
Equipped with the dedicated ST7735V3 small-screen driver IC, abundant open-source debugging routines are available online and directly portable to 51, STM32, ESP32 and Arduino. Single SPI line transmission occupies very few IO pins with a simple hardware peripheral circuit, greatly shortening student training and small wearable product R&D cycles.
The integrated 2PIN minimal FPC connection greatly compresses cable space compared with multi-pin screens, avoiding cable stacking interference around the small battery inside bands.
